So I did what any normal, well adjusted camera carrying psycho would. I took off my ring, placed it on my book and then took about 30 pictures.
These are my two favorite "poses." I'm beginning to realize that I really need to start carrying around some other little prop I can leave places (maybe I'll steal that Traveling gnome when no one is looking).
Wouldn't this be a weird new way to have book reviews? Instead of just pictures of the book taken from Amazon, you did a fancy photoshoot. Hm . . .I suppose I should share what the book is after making you look at it, eh?
It's called A Sundial in a Grave: 1610 and if there are any Dumas, 1600's France, or James I of England fans you may want to pick this up. Or if you just really like the word doublet. He he he doublet.
That's awesome. I love these photos with the book :)

these look great!
ReplyDeleteHa ha ha! Yes, working in a windowless office totally sucks. Luckily, though, I get plenty of sun during the summer here in Texas. But I still miss it during the day!
ReplyDeleteActually, the company I work for owns some mills and has working agreements with others - so they actually will make the strikeoff for us from a drawing we submit, and once the strikeoff is approved, we send it back to the mill and they make the rug! There are mills in China, Nepal, India, the Phillipenes... all over. It just depends on what type of rug you're ordering as to where it's made at.
I really like the first one!
ReplyDeleteI think it's really happy that you're always taking pictures of everything!
I'm with Rachel, though - working in a windowless office sucks.
I love that last book shot.
