Look at that tiny hand, I love the little nails.
Big brother wasn't too happy when we showed up. He was being rather naughty and sulking in his room but we brought a little something to pull him out of his dark "I don't want to share" mood. It's a Lego kit with a boat, a trailer and a truck. He was so excited he sucked my husband into his room with a big pile of Lego's for about 3 hours or so. Boys and their toys.
After a while big brother took us out to see his little bucket calf, bubba. They're like two little peas in a pod:While those two were off tearing up a storm chasing after each other in the pen, one of the dogs came over to inspect the newest little one on the farm: My best friend has Mommy written all over her. She's just in her element with her little ones, making it look so easy to play with a four year old while also feeding and changing a newborn.
Her four year old is much better behaved than some college students I know too. He is really good about keeping his hands out of other people's stuff and will ask for most things instead of just getting into it and then later telling you.
Which isn't to say that he doesn't still have four year old moments. At the hospital a nurse was chatting him up asking him what his new little brother's name is. He responded, with about 20 other people around, "I don't know, but he sucks on Mommies boobies!"She makes it all seem so easy you just want to run out and get one of your own. Maybe even aim for two in one go so you don't have to wait.
Uh-oh.
It's a 5-13. I better step away from the monitor and look away from all the adorable pictures before it's too late.
