Thanks to the University deciding that it's much better to give everyone else raises and screw anyone just starting out I'm out of a job.
The really crappy thing is that while there are research jobs here they are made for someone who already works in the lab and no one else is ever considered for it. It took me a good 5 months to find the job I had and lost now and it was such a perfect fit for me.
And here I already thought my weekend couldn't get any worse.
So begins another round of hunting, searching, interviewing and rejection.
This just sucks.

I am so sorry :( Have your paintings been bringing in much income? Or is it just mostly covering your supplies?
I do have to add- that when I lost my job (almost 3 years ago now) it was the best thing to ever happen to me.
Boo!
Been there. Take a few days off (even the rest of the week) to paint and decompress before you start your job hunt. Something will turn up!
Oh how awful! I'm obviously behind in my google reader, but I wanted to tell you how sorry I am!
