Free Book!

Banter, banter banter, wow the weather is looking especially apocalyptic lately, hey is that a new head?

Okay now that the pleasantries are over time to get down to business.

I'M GIVING AWAY TWO COPIES OF MY BOOK - Tin Hero: Boy meets Girl, Girl teaches Boy how to kill Ogre, Boy falls down a lot. (To learn more and read a handy preview check out this blog write up on it from Indie Books List)
They will both come with a copy of my little map of the land of Arda (including a handy guide to where there be dragons and where there were being dragons) and my John Hancock (the feds are on to me) but the Grand Book Prize as it were comes with a bit more.
As well as a signature page covered in my squibbles and half attempts at cursive I learned in third grade there are a few surprises waiting on each page.

It's a book containing two things I love, spinning wild tales that end on a fart gag and covering things in doodles and I'm giving it away free of charge and everything.

But wait, there's more. To coincide with this little giveaway and if you don't care much for digital copies for a week anyone can get my eBook version for $0.99.

It's in about any form imaginable; Kindle, Nook, Palm, Hamster, HTML, Vellum and buried in jars for thousands of years. Just click here and include the coupon code: MT87U

Once again, Click Here and include the code: MT87U to get any random electronic copy of my novel.

Now to the meat of the bone, how to win this collector's edition (in that I'm only doing this once, filling 270 pages with doodlings is hard).

In order to officially enter you have to leave a name in the comments. It would be preferable if you leave your name but I understand if you CIA robots are after you but you still need some light reading.

For another entry be following the blog. I swear I won't send wave after wave of spam after you. How about Vienna Sausages instead?

Over the course of the week I'll include a few other ReTweet twitter chances to enter more as well.

That's it. Free book, covered in free drawings and trees and when the winner is chosen perhaps even a small personalized painting. Get to clicking.

Giveaway!

Like the title says, Giveaway!

Do you really need any more words? Come on, it's a giveaway!

It should send the people running right.

*taps foot and looks at watch*

Oh I suppose you are probably all wondering just what I'm giving away, don't you?

Well feast your eyes upon this!

I got my hands on a brand new 1 GB ipod shuffle that to celebrate the new year and new look I thought I'd share with all my wonderful readers, commenters and mooses.

I have one just like it that I love. It's small enough I can slip it in a tiny pocket easy enough and 1GB on random shuffle is more than enough to keep me entertained for hours. (It's also the best way we've found so far to be able to listen to Rifftrax while sitting on our living room couch).

If you haven't gotten into the iPod phenomenon yet or are looking for something a bit smaller and more portable then you should really enter my little contest to win this baby and test it out for yourself.

How to enter?

It's quite simple really, just leave a comment. It can be what you had for breakfast, who you think will win the world series of cup stacking or just what the Mayan's really think will happen in 2012 (I have my money on Elvis is coming back).

If you'd like another entry follow me. Oh you may also want to include that in your comment as well just so I make super sure I can count right.

You want a third entry? Shesh, you are demanding. Okay a bit of a bigger challenge then, you must tape a picture of one of my paintings to your forehead and walk backwards down the street singing yankee doodle (big poofy hat is optional).

Once again, GIVEAWAY!

Even better, Giveaway of an iPod.

Leave comment, follow and make a fool of yourself are the ways to play. I'll be announcing the winner in a week (and you better believe I'll be mentioning this sucker a lot).

G-I-V-E-A-W-A-Y!

Picture a Day - Day 316

For the past week I've been munching and enjoying the ripe harvest of apples that sit in our grocery store shelves.

Last week it was Granny Smith, the large green men from Mars of the apple world (just don't sneeze on them or you could wipe out the entire crop).

This week we moved to a different apple brand, Honeycrisp. And while the apples live up to their rather strange name by being sweet and generally crisp (I'm more of a suck your face in tart and crisper than a dollar bill kinda girl but these are still good) the sticker has been confusing me.
Am I crazy or is that bastardization of Winnie the Pooh sucking his thumb or did he just stick a whole apple into his gaping maw while offering up one for any other bears to shove in their faces?

Anyone?

What? Oh yeah there was something else I was going to do today. Now just what was it?

*think think think*

Quick someone give me an apple I can shove in my mouth, that always gets the brain cells going.

Oh right! The painting winner.

Drum roll please. I shall spin the random number generator like I'm on the Price is Right and out pops number:
All right! Round of applesauce for number 11!

Oh wait, there should be a name to go with it. This is about as double blind as one can get as I picked the number at home and left my list at work. So let's see.

The winner of my first ever 16X20 painting giveaway is:

Carrie Mae!

If you get some time from your Hallowedding just drop me an e-mail and we can get started on some ideas for your painting.

Thanks to everyone who entered and shared my giveaway with the world. It was so much fun I'm sure I'll be doing it again at some point in the future and maybe actually remember to stress my own painting store a bit more in the post. He he he, oops.

And if anyone out there has been wanting their own wedding dress painting from yours truly come back later today (I hope) and you may get a chance to get one for free.

Thanks again! I'll be sharing pictures from the whole process on my blog so you can watch how one of the larger ones comes to life.

Reminder: Super awesome giveaway

Just a little reminder from your friendly neighborhood spider-lady that you have til Wednesday to get in any and all entries for my huge 16X20 painting giveaway.
In case anyone forgot, I'll be creating something completely custom for the winner and documenting the whole process on my blog (mostly because I thought it'd be kinda cool).

I even dug through my old photo archives and found a painting I made for a coworker that I never shared with you. There are tons of other examples of my work at my main post.

Three easy ways to enter and get those numbers up:

1. You have to leave a comment (or if you'd like to remain anonymous send me an e-mail) so I know that you seriously want to be in the running for the painting.

2. Be a follower of my blog on my facebook fan page to get another entry.

3. Follow me on twitter, also helpful as I'll have Re-tweeting chances for more entries as well.

Just a few more days and then random number man will pick the winner, so keep entering for your own little piece of custom art.

The biggest Painting Giveaway in history!

I was promising exciting news last week, taunting you with words and youtube previews of hilarious videos. Now its time to pull back the curtain and reveal what's on the shiny pedestal.

A free 16X20 Painting!

That's right, I'm giving away a nice sized 16X20 painting. But it isn't just any old painting I have kicking around in storage.

No, I am offering that if you win my contest I will work with you to create your own 16X20 painting based upon what fits your tastes and decorating themes.

It could be a lovely nature scene of a lake:
Or a bright green forest:If you're big into my trees, I could create something like what hangs over my own mantle in any color you'd like.
Or a tree silhouette with a flock of birds than hangs over our bed.
If you're just looking for something more mood setting, there's also my castle in the mountains theme as well.
Or I could work to create something completely different than what I've never attempted before. It's fully up to you and what you'd most want on your wall. The sky's the limit.

I've done something like this only for close friends and family and as a thank you to everyone out there I'd like to offer a custom 16X20 painting for one of you.

I have never sold a painting this size before but it's easily a $60-$70 value.

That's nice and all, but just how does one go about entering. There are numerous ways to get your name in the running.

One week from today I'll close down the contest and let Random Number pick the winner.

If you'd like your own Sabrina stamped piece of wall art, just leave a comment and if you have any neat ideas for what you'd want your painting to be please share.

Or if you just can't wait or stand the excitement check out my shop and see if there's anything there you'd already like.

Giveaway 500!

Drop the balloons, Introverted Wife just hit 500 posts!

*Runs around in streams of confetti spraying everyone with champale*

And just what does one do on such a majestic occasion? Well aside from throwing paper goods at each other of course.

Why a giveaway of course!

I thought long and hard what is something that I think is cool, sweet, thoughtful, and all around the greatest thing on the face of the planet?

Sadly Disney World isn't for sale.

Then I saw this Vinyl Wall Decal from Thoughts That Stick and it just seemed too perfect for words:
It's 15" X 5" and you can choose whichever color you like to match your walls. This would make a great addition to a bathroom for those bad days (and if I actually owned a house I'd be keeping it for myself) or even as a gift to remind a special person that they're their own kind of beautiful.

So just how do you win this awesome prize? It's surprisingly simple really.

You get one entry just by leaving a comment. Doesn't have to be anything thoughtful or Shakespearean. You can just bang on the keys with your palm and hit enter if you'd like.

You get two entries if you mention my giveaway on your blog or if you hack wikipedia and get it broadcast on the front page (I will however have to disavow any knowledge of it).

You can score the ultimate three entries if you do all that other stuff above and also include a mention about my etsy store, my paintings, or the wedding dress stuff on your blog. If you've already done so just mention it again in the comment section and I'll give you your three entries.

Finally if you can provide documentary proof that you can put your elbow in your ear then you get an infinite amount of entries.

So what are you waiting for? Your walls are just aching for some decorating.
