I'm not really a fan of Dickens but I just found this quote about March and it's perfect for the week we're having:
"It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold: when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade." ~Charles Dickens
Yes, that really is snow on those leaves mixed in with some bright green grass that thought it was time to pop out.
To me that pretty much symbolizes March in Nebraska, the foliage is doing its damnedest to grow but the weather loves to mess with its head by tossing a random snow storm here and there.

To combat this annoying is it or isn't it time of March, I turn to Monsieur Yankee Candle.
The bright crisp green smell of Dune Grass or Green house puts me in mind of fresh clipped grass and Bay Breeze is a soft wind off a large body of some type of water (I don't think banana bread really needs any explanations).
What do you do when you're in a Spring mood but the weather refuses to cooperate? How's the weather out there in your neck of the woods?
The better question though is anyone else as addicted to Yankee as I am?

When I get spring fever I head to the gardens, nothing like their sprig show to get me over the hump and remind me of the promise of spring. I love candles as well, but they give my hubby a headache so I don't burn them much!
Those candles sounds really nice! Too bad for me too many things like that makes it difficult for me to breathe.
I always find it entertaining when the grass is starting to turn green and then it snows or gets really cold. Poor Grass came out too early.
I love springtime when things are still cold but the green is popping up. Especially when tulips start growing out of the snow.
Yummy. I do love Yankee candles. I'll have to check out the Dune Grass one.
In response to your question, an iron ring is a ring that an engineer wears once they have graduated on their working hand to remind them of the responsibility to society engineers have.
